Immunity Fire Cider
The ingredients of fire cider are highly variable and not strictly limited to those below – you can add any herbs or spices. I usually use any herbs growing in the garden around Autumn so that the fire cider is ready for Winter.
- Raw & Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother)
- Fresh basil
- Fresh oregano
- Kaffir Lime Leaves
- Fresh Thyme
- Fresh Basil
- Fresh Parsley
- Lemon with the rind (organic)
- Fresh chillies
- Garlic chopped
- Fresh Rosemary
- Ginger chopped
- Onion chopped
- Cardamom
- Star Anise
- Cinnamon
- Cloves
1. Chop all of your ingredients into rough pieces and squeeze as much as possible into a large, sterilised jar.
2. Add enough Apple Cider Vinegar to cover everything, seal the jar and shake it gently.
3. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, for at least 4 weeks.
4. Once infusion is complete, strain and store in the fridge.
Add a tablespoon to warm water for an immune boosting tonic as needed or as a salad dressing.
